Collegiate Medical Mentoring

Trinitas' Collegiate Medical Mentoring program began in the summer of 2014. This special program will run from January 3 to January 14, 2022 . The time commitment for the Collegiate Medical Mentoring program is 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The departments in which you will have the opportunity to observe include the Emergency Room, OB/GYN, Surgery, Medical Clinic, the Cancer Center, ICU, Psychiatry, Dialysis and the Wound Center.

About the Program
During this two-week program, each student will have the opportunity to be immersed into a different specialty each day. In addition, students will have the opportunity to participate in didactic activities with physicians.

How will this help me in my future career goals?
This dynamic program affords students an introduction to different specialties, environments, clinics and patient populations. It also gives students a unique window into the experiences of physicians in various specialties.

What some of our students had to say about our program:
"There is such a wide range of personalities, environments and opportunities even with the same hospital."

"(I) Had the most memorable and meaningful experience."

"The program taught the complexity of the medical field in relation to working as a team in a professional environment."

This special program will run from January 3-14, 2022. The time commitment for the Collegiate Medical Mentoring program is 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
